He is best known for hits such as "Purple Rain", "Kiss" and "When Doves Cry". Prince was also famous for his iconic image, his boundless creativity and his refusal to conform to music industry norms. His death in 2016 was a huge loss to the music industry, but his musical legacy lives on and continues to inspire generations of artists.
