Georges Brassens did not die on October 29, 1981. Certainly, he rests with his family, in the shade of an umbrella pine, with a view of the Thau lagoon. But his spirit is elsewhere, in the hearts of those who love him and hum him.

Having had access to his diaries, Bernard Lonjon chose to reconstruct a complete life by detailing year by year, month by month, day by day, the life and work of the troubadour from Sète: recordings, shows, meetings, travels, interviews, leisure, critical reception… It reveals the contents of a Brassens library kept secret, including certain correspondence never published.

These ephemeris, without equivalent in brassenology, thus show, closely intertwined, the public life and private life of the “prank of song”.
