A look back at AC/DC's 50th anniversary tour
On December 31, 1973, the group AC/DC made their debut on stage in a bar in Sydney, Australia. 50 years later , after a dazzling career, the group AC/DC celebrates its anniversary with a European tour which delights its fans. The first concert of the Power Up tour took place on May 17 at the Veltins-Arena in Gelsenkirchen, Germany and was attended by more than 60,000 people. Back on the tour of the most electrifying rock group this year!
1. Tour dates and locations
AC/DC is touring throughout Europe in 2024 , and the group will be in Germany a lot during this tour. However, you can remember some interesting dates for French speakers:
- June 29 – Zurich, Switzerland: Letzigrund Stadium
- August 9 – Dessel, Belgium: Festival park Stenehei
- August 13 – Paris, France: Paris-Longchamp Racecourse
We hope that you already have your tickets because these concerts have been sold out for some time now... Yes, the tickets for one of the most legendary rock groups are gone as quickly as croissants coming out of the oven.

2. Return to the first concert
8 years after an absence that was a little too long for European fans, AC/DC launched its tour with the first concert in Germany. The Pretty Reckles were the opening act and warmed up the room for the arrival of AC/DC.
AC/DC, composed for this 2024 tour of Angus Young, Brian Johnson, Stevie Young, Matt Laug and Chris Chaney , began its set with If You Want Blood (You've Got It).

Obviously, it was the greatest classics of the AC/DC group that excited the fans and made the atmosphere electric. After 50 years, the group is still adored, even after 8 years of absence, and it's a pleasure to see (and listen to). We can't wait to see the first images from the concert in Paris.
